The VW Crafter (Grand California) / MAN TGE are only equipped with a towing eye on the front bumper.

Towing or recovering another vehicle is therefore only possible using the factory towing eye on the front. This is particularly annoying if, for example, your own vehicle has to be freed from an emergency situation by reversing, as the only option is to attach the tow rope to a rim or axle.

With the help of the recovery eyes, this problem is a thing of the past. The eyes are mounted on the rear frame of the vehicle and thus offer the possibility of freeing yourself or another vehicle via the rear area.

Scope of delivery:

2x recovery straps made of 12mm high-strength steel, black powder-coated, calculated breaking load approx. 5 t / plate, depending on the pulling direction possibly also less

8x screws M12 in 10.9 with nuts / washers depending on the set

2x counter plates (only when selected without trailer hitch)

2x shackle WLL 4.75t in red, orange or black

The following note applies to vehicles with a trailer hitch:

Please check whether the nuts on the tow bar plate (where the tow bar is connected to the frame) are welded or not. This must be taken into account and selected when choosing the item!

Notes:

If necessary, adjustments must be made to the holes on the vehicle.

Suitable for front- / all-wheel- / rear-wheel drive.

Not suitable for flatbed chassis such as Hymer MLT!

Not suitable for vehicles with twin tires!
