The promotion has ended. The nomadiQ 3.0 was available at a promotional price until August 13, 2026. The remainder of this post remains unchanged.
Grilling is as much a part of camping as coffee in the morning. However, the grilling question in a camper is completely different from at home in the garden. There you choose between charcoal and gas and then have a device that just sits in the corner. In a camper, a single question decides whether the grill ultimately comes along or gathers dust in the garage. And hardly anyone thinks about that beforehand.
Where to put it?
In a Grand California, storage space is the scarcest commodity. Every centimeter in the overhead cabinets is planned, and the rear storage space is too. A grill that takes up half a cabinet will be used twice and then stay at home. That's the honest reason why most camping grills end up on the shelf and not in the vehicle.
So the question is not which grill cooks best, but which is small enough that you don't have to re-weigh it every time.
Frankly about the Grand California
Lest any wrong impression be created: Your Grand California does not have an external gas connection ex works. Neither the 600 nor the 680, neither the early model years nor those after the facelift. So you can't just open a flap and plug in the grill.
But you don't need to. The grill comes with everything it needs to operate. Attach the cartridge and start grilling, without any modifications to the vehicle.
The nomadiQ, and why it fits the bill
That's exactly why we've added the nomadiQ Gas Grill 3.0 to our product range.
When folded, it measures 41 by 13 by 19 centimeters and weighs 5.6 kilograms. That's flatter than most camping chairs and fits into gaps where nothing else goes. When unfolded, you still have 1,460 square centimeters of grilling surface, spread over two burners that you can control separately. So you can sear sharply at the front and keep warm at the back, without constantly having to rearrange things. That's easily enough for two people, and also for a gathering at the pitch.
It comes standard with a hose, pressure reducer, drip trays, and shoulder strap, and is operated with a standard screw-on cartridge. The casing is aluminum, and since model 3.0, the grates are PFAS-free coated.
The promotion
Until August 13, you can get the nomadiQ 3.0 from us for 279 Euros instead of the recommended retail price of 319.95 Euros. After that, it will be removed from the offer.
