Do you know that feeling? You turn on the tap in your Grand California and instead of a strong jet, only a tired trickle emerges. That's annoying when washing dishes, and even more so when showering.

The strongest pump for the GC is the Reich PowerJet Plus with 25 l/min and 2.1 bar. Unfortunately, you can't just swap it out: the standard electronics in the Grand California are designed for the weak original pump and do not permanently handle the higher current of the PowerJet Plus cleanly. This is exactly where our adapter cable harness comes in.

It makes the conversion a true plug-and-play project. You don't cut anything on the original VW wiring harness; you simply plug the cable harness in between. An integrated relay takes over the load and supplies the pump directly and safely. The pump signal of your GC only controls the relay, and your original electronics remain completely protected. If you ever want to revert, you simply unplug everything, without leaving any traces.

• Is plugged in using the existing connectors, no cutting, no soldering on the VW harness
• The original pump signal switches a relay (12 V/30 A) instead of directly loading the pump
• The pump receives its power cleanly via an internal 15 A fuse
• Your onboard electronics only see the small relay load and remain protected

Good to know

• The PowerJet Plus builds up noticeably more pressure. Check your hose clamps in the fresh water area and replace them with stainless steel if necessary.
• A non-return valve is not included with the Reich pump, but it is worthwhile and easy to add.
